Caden's Story

On January 11,2011 , a precious baby boy as born in China. It was apparent to his birth parents that he was different . You see this precious baby boy was born with blue eyes and blond hair. He was born with albinism.
In a sea of raven haired people ,he will never find acceptance.
Never marry,
never find a job,
never know the love of a family.
Sad to say, but this is reality for Han Le Wen.
After four months of loving , caring and holding him in their hearts ,his birth parents made the difficult decision to abandon him in a public place.They knew that his only chance is for a foreign family to adopt him.He was carefully placed where he would be found. In just a few hours he was found by the local police and taken to the orphanage.
The first few months of life at the orphanage was difficult for this baby boy. He cried himself to sleep daily at the beginning. Over time, he slowly adjusted to living in his new home.Despite being broken and afraid, this baby is a survivor at only 8 months old. Le Wen learned quickly that if he grips his tiny fingers tightly onto the orphanage workers clothing he can insure that he will not be placed back into his crib.
Now he waits in the confines of those orphanage walls for a another chance to know the love of a family.
This precious baby boy now has a chance at a future and a family to love and cherish him for the treasure that he is.

Fundraiser for Caden!!!!!!!!


Welcome!
As many of you know, this will be our third international adoption. Despite the fact that many children languish in institutions and never receive a family, the excessive cost often deters potential families. The cost of an international adoption from China can run in excess of $25,000. We have decided to try and offset some of the adoption cost by a  hosting a fundraiser.

Here are the details :


  • The raffle is for a Sig Sauer 522 Classic 
  • or 
  • a $500 gift card to Bass Pro, Gander Mountain or Academy. 

  • For you ladies that do not feel that a gun is what you are longing for, you can choose a $500 gift card to the store of your choice :)

  • The raffle will be held on December 23, 2011. 

  • One random winner will be drawn. 

  • All funds raised will go towards the adoption. 

  • The winner of the gun must be at least 18 years or older.

  • Valid driver license will be needed to claim the gun.
